What can I expect on my first visit?You can't miss our beautiful church property about 1/8 mile west from the SR 58 and West Erie intersection. The main entrance is on West Erie Ave, and you'll recognize it by our sign and lovely landscaping. Our ushers will meet you, offer you our weekly church bulletin, and direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you may have.
Most adults attend the primary AM Preaching service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the traditional congregational song service and special solo/group presentations . The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Aaron Webb. This service is a little over one hour in length. Also, at 10:00 AM we provide a wide offering of Sunday School classes for every person. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy perhaps some coffee and donuts, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Beacon Baptist Church is to visit one of these adult Bible classes.
Where do I take my children?Starting with an excellent nursery, there is something special for every age child. At every service there is a safe, clean, and well staffed nursery for children three years old and under. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. Our church is large, which to a guest can seem overwhelming at first. It's not as complicated as it looks, and we would like to help you find the appropriate classes, and services for every person in your family. Our ushers and church workers are located around church as well as in the lobby of the main auditorium and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place. What about my teens?Most of the teens attend a class designed just for them for one hour and then the main preaching service another hour with their parents. How should I dress?There is not a dress code at Beacon Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Beacon Baptist! Who is Pastor Aaron Webb?Pastor Aaron Webb has been the senior Pastor of Beacon Baptist Church for over 32 years. Along with his lovely wife, Mrs. Dottie Webb, he has been serving and leading our church as the Lord leads and directs him. Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?No. We don't invite you to Beacon Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace.
